My firm (Grubb & Ellis/Apex Healthcare) is conducting a quick and simple research project, surveying health care providers regarding the costs incurred during their preparation for the H1N1 pandemic that never occurred. We’d like anyone from a hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility, hospice, home health agency, physician’s practice, ambulance service, etc. to give us a brief and simple explanation or general overview of their steps in preparation for the H1N1 outbreak and the “best guess” (or actual if available) costs that were incurred (costs don’t need to be itemized or broken down in any particular fashion).

The results of our survey will be posted on the Apex E-News site (http://apexhealthcareconsultants.info) once the research is complete, likely near the end of May and sent electronically (e-mailed) as a client alert to any Apex Healthcare clients or colleagues on our e-mail distribution list.
